Ukraine prepares to receive European Youth Parliament
On 13th September the 53th international session of European youth parliament will take place in Kiev.
About it reported president of International youth public organization «European youth Parliament-Ukraine» Àndrusyk Alexandra.
She underlined that first for 18 years of existence a country, which is neither the member of European Union nor candidate, will adopt a EYP session.
In a measure will take part about 300 young people in age 16-22 years from 30 countries of Europe. During 10 days they will work in composition international committees, a structure and general orientation of which corresponds to similar positions of committees of European parliament.
Themes which will come into question on a session will touch questions important for Ukraine, in particular, Russian-German project of the Baltic gas pipeline, company against an epidemic HIV/AIDS, defence of rights for the seekers of shelter and illegal migrants.
First a session will include the special additional program about human rights.
