Students offer the decision of youths problems
On September, 11, 2006 in Verhovna Rada of Ukraine took place a round table on a theme the "Most essential students problems and ways of their decision".
During meeting of round table following issues were discussed: expansion of rights for the organs of student self-government of higher educational establishments, participation of organs of student self-government in the improvement of terms of residence in dormitories,
availability of receipt of educational credits for young people, etc.
One of basic questions is the problem of students dormitories, which does not have the prospects of decision on conditions of operating normative base. This problem was, is and remains one of most essential in Ukraine for today.
Within the framework of the program of Allukrainian Student Union at Department of education and science of Ukraine to "Student self-government - offers the real rights" the Union offered the way of decision of this problem, in particular: to initiate acceptance of changes to Law of Ukraine "About high education", which would give a right to the students to take part in the decision of questions establishments, eviction and residence of students in dormitories.
