Yuriy Pavlenko: “Day of Peace in Artek have united 50 nations of the world”
On the 29th of July International children center “Artek” celebrated the Day of Peace.
There were elected by tradition Messengers of the Peace, who will tell in their countries about “Artek” ideals – unselfish friendship, happy childhood, people kindness and beauty of the Crimean peninsula.
In the evening tens of thousands of children – Ukrainian, Georgian, Lithuanian, Japanese, Indian – have set free thousands of multicolored balloons with friendship letters to all children of our planet.
Minister of Family, Youth and Sport Affairs of Ukraine - Yuriy Pavlenko – visited festival in the Day of Peace. Minister congratulated all children from 50 states of the world, who were united by the International children center “Artek” this summer.
“Day of Peace – is one of the most bright “Artek” festivals, which is impatiently waited by children. Because they better than adults understand that it is possible to grow, learn, dream and be friends only in peace and love”, - said Yuriy Pavlenko.
