Does the president of Ukraine live on skies?
Material well-being of the Ukrainian students is 90% dormitories.
About it President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko declared on August, 16, in Ukrainian House in Kiev during the Allukrainian conference “Equal access to higher education”.
The Ukrainian association of student self-government counts this number, given Department of education and science of Ukraine, such, which does not absolutely represent the real situation. “Such information is formed due to the settlement of swingeing majority of students with gross violation of sanitary norms, when in a room, counted on 3 men, 5-6" live, - explains the head of Secretariat UASS Alex Klyashtornyy.
In opinion of UASS, about the extreme sharpness of problem of dormitories for the residence of students to, that the amount of students in Ukraine comparatively with a soviet period grew in three times testifies especially brightly, and seating capacity in dormitories remained practically unchanging.
