International Student Fellowship

Each year, Darton College offers a limited number of fellowships to highly qualified international students. The Darton College International Student Fellowship Program waives the out-of-state cost of tuition for eligible students. Students who receive this fellowship will pay the in-state tuition, which is approximately $1,842 (for the fall and spring semesters). This will be a savings of approximately $4,626. In order to be eligible for an International Student Fellowship, applicants must meet all admissions requirements for enrollment into Darton College. Fellowship recipients must be enrolled full-time, with a minimum course load of twelve (12) credit hours. Recipients are also required to assist the college with campus and community activities. Continuation of Fellowship Awards is contingent upon the recipient’s academic performance and contributions to the campus and community.
Application Fee
Send a non-refundable application fee of $20.00 (U.S.), made payable to Darton College, with the application for admission.
Transcripts
Request official copies of your high school, secondary school, and post-secondary school records to be sent directly to the Office of Admissions. Any non-American style transcript needs to be translated and evaluated by a credential evaluation service. In lieu of high school graduation, a GED with satisfactory scores is acceptable.
Test Scores
Send the SAT or ACT scores if you graduated from a high school within the past 5 years. If you have no taken these tests, you may schedule to take them on campus before class registration. If English is a second language, the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), with a minimum score of 480 on the written test, 157 on the computer-based test, or 54 on the internet-based test must be sent to the Office of Admissions. (Please use TOEFL Institution Code 5026 for Darton College.)
Application Deadlines (for students who require student visas)
- Fall Semester ... July 15th - Spring Semester ... December 1st - Summer Semester ... May 1st
*Students who are required to apply for student visas at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in their home country must apply before the deadline. Applications received after the deadline will be considered the following semester.
